Welcome to my new blog. They say third-time’s-the-charm to get something right so that’s where I find myself. This morning I woke up determined. I have many of these mornings especially on Mondays, maybe because everything should start on Mondays? Anyway I’ve been kicking around the idea of starting my blog again and this morning I decided that I would not only start it today but I would seriously give it a 150% effort. You can say I have issues with keeping up with certain things.
Speaking of having a determined attitude, this morning I went into work prepared to show some effort to my boss. My current job is important...sure, but extremely repetitive and boring. So this girl I share responsibilities with is officially on maternity leave since today... all I can say is yay!! Babies can be a blessing (ha!). So I tell my boss to give me the full responsibility of the work and even though I haven’t excelled in the past, it’s never too late to turn it around. I seriously wrote this in an e-mail and sent it to my boss. I’m totally laughing my ass off right now. Later on my boss replied saying that I’m on. I’m feeling pretty great right now. Determination being the keyword.
One interesting thing about this past weekend... I started watching The Sopranos. I understand why James Gandolfini was not casted very much after Sopranos... he can only be Tony Soprano. I seriously wish he was my father, and I’m not just saying that because I’m obsessed with Gangstas. So far I think the show is extremely entertaining but I’m only on episode 4. I’m sure I will have more to say as I continue watching. Happy Watching to me!
I want to end today’s post by saying that I have no real topic or direction for this blog. I’m always getting into things so that’s where I’ll get my inspiration from. If nothing else, I will definitely enjoy documenting this year.
